CARLI SUSPENSION KITS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPONENTS

The entire engineering philosophy behind Carli aims to offer the real world Dodge Ram and Ford SuperDuty a suspension system that drastically increases the street drive of the vehicle while offering incredible off-road characteristics. So far, Sage Carli's suspension systems are the only option available where you don't have to compromise.

Carli products are designed to meet the expectations of both the daily street driver and the most extreme avid off road enthusiast. From the urban streets to the most remote places, Carli products will far exceed all your expectations. The easiest way to put this into perspective is that Carli truly builds suspension systems for the enthusiast....the person who truly LOVES their truck and wants to upgrade it with the most thought out, tasteful upgrades on the market. No, this type of individual isn't going to head to Napa to pickup a new track bar. They're going to research the best possible track bar on the market and go that route. Carli Suspension is truly a brand for enthusiasts, featuring products that are built by enthusiasts. Just watch any of Carli Suspension's videos and you'll understand why they have such a passion for their products.

Stock production trucks are built mainly to keep costs down. From a truck enthusiast's point of view these standards simply are not acceptable. From people looking to get a better ride with a more aggressive stance to people looking to get some serious off road performance, Carli understands the needs of these enthusiasts. This is epitomized by the ever growing list of satisfied customers. Carli Suspension’s relentless pursuit of producing the best performing suspension systems is something that can be felt every time a customer drives their truck. Carli wouldn’t have it any other way.

CARLI COMPONENTS

You know, its not always about a complete suspension. In fact, some of our best selling Carli products are things like a track bar, Carli ball joints, shocks, coil springs, and more. Maybe you've got a clunk in your front end that has been nailed down to being from a worn out track bar bushing and you did your research (mentioned above) and found out that the best track bar for your Ram or Ford is from Carli, so you buy that one. Or maybe you want a better ride, but only want to replace the coil springs for now. No problem. Sure, Carli is centered around their entire systems, but nearly all of their components can be used interchangeably on a stock height truck or one with an existing leveling or lift kit. We do our best to make note of any fitment requirements on each product page, but if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and ask, we're happy to help.

Here at Diesel Power Products we only want to sell the best and let’s face it, the stock Ram and Ford suspension needs help. Your stock suspension system is designed to be adequate and nothing more. Carli not only makes the ride of your truck better, it makes it safer. Whether you are towing a trailer on the interstate or doing a little off-road adventure, we will attest that you'll be more than satisfied by upgrading to Carli.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We get a lot of calls and e-mails each day with various product, vehicle, and installation questions. Some are completely off the wall and can even catch us off guard at times, but many others are fairly routine, so we thought we'd post some of the most popular questions that can hopefully be a good resource for you.

Q: I mostly drive on the highway, but take my truck on rough back roads and cruise logging roads from time to time. Which kit is right for me?
A: When looking at a Carli kit for a specific vehicle application, most will have the same overall lift height, such as 3", and the systems are all identical except for different shocks. Sure, some may have optional full leaf packs versus Add-A-Packs, but you're going to find the same coil springs, same track bar, same Add-A-Packs, etc. across all of their kits within the same lift height and save vehicle application. What this means is that if how you're using the truck ever changes, or if you start with a more "budget-friendly" kit, but want to upgrade later, typically all that needs changed are the shocks. Now, back to the original question, and for a truck how most use their trucks, the Pintop is typically going to be the best-performing system for all terrains. Now, should you go head to the dunes and try to skip across the whoops at 80MPH with a set of Pintops? Probably not, but they'll do remarkably well on the washboard areas offroad at relative speed, but still be great when commuting to work. That said, quite honestly, Carli's line of Starter and Leveling Kits that utilize a 2.0" IFP shock is our most popular Carli kits sold probably due to the price. And that's okay because they're still going to deliver a substantial increase in ride quality to your stock truck, or heck, even most aftermarket kits on the market. Just know that you really can't go wrong with any of their systems.

Q: Can I buy just the Carli shocks if I don't have Carli coil or leaf springs already installed?
A: Nearly all of Carli's shocks will "work" with other brands of suspension, the only time they wouldn't physically install would be instances when Carli provides replacement shock towers to eliminate the upper stud style mounting point, but other than that, sure, they'll work. That said, Carli custom tunes ALL of their shock packages for their suspension systems, even their more basic 2.0 IFP shocks. What that means is that it's not an ideal situation to run Carli's 2.5 Pintop Shock Package with another brand of suspension because their spring rate, travel, etc. is not the same as what Carli builds into their springs. We've had plenty of people, though, use Carli's Signature Series shocks as an upgrade even when they're just running a basic leveling kit and noticed a substantial increase in ride quality. There again, they'll probably work better than most shocks on the market, it's just that they are fine-tuned to work with THEIR suspension for ideal results.

Q: Can I use Carli's extended control arms if I'm not running a Carli 3" lift?
A: While Carli's control arms have numerous design features that make them substantially stronger than a factory (or most aftermarket) control arms, in terms of their physical ability to work on a truck that is not running a Carli suspension system, yes, they will absolutely bolt into place. In terms of any dimensional differences, their control arms are designed to work ideally on a truck with the stated lift height (such as 3") to recenter the front axle after the vehicle has been lifted, to correct the overall geometry and up/down travel of the axle.

Q: I have knurled ball joints right now, will the Carli joints press in?
A: Most likely not. Knurled ball joints are inherently designed to expand the bore in the knuckle at the splines of the knurls, meaning once you've installed knurled ball joints, you'll forever have knurled until you replace the knuckles. You have to answer the question of whether you should keep replacing the knurled ball joints every year, or just change the knuckles and ball joints, and never have to do it again.
