Description
One of the hardest things to combat in any diesel pickup are EGT's. Even on a stock pickup, Exhaust Gas Temperatures can easily climb into an unsafe zone, especially as ambient air temperatures, trailer weight, and age accumulate. This is especially true when Ram decided to go with a dual intercooler system. Hands down, the simplest method to drop EGT's while increasing boost is to upgrade the intercooler, and there's no better option than this drop-in replacement from CSF. When it comes to keeping your exhaust temperatures down, you need to start right at the beginning, by drawing cold, dense air into the engine. Simply put, the more cold air you force in, the colder the air going out will be. Further, this denser air charge results in quicker turbo spool up and many times nets an increase in fuel economy. Its all about making the existing fuel more efficient. The more effectively you burn off the existing fuel by properly atomizing it with as much air as possible, the more of it that will burn off, creating more power, better fuel economy, and lower temperatures. You know back in school when you learned about the Law of Thermodynamics, stating that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be transferred, well its true. So, make better use of your fuel (reducing heat energy) and turn it into "horsepower energy!"

About CSF Radiators
Your radiator plays an obviously very important role in the long term health of your diesel engine. However, it goes forgotten when trying to cool temperatures. Unbeknownst to many, or possibly just forgotten, your radiator becomes clogged with debris over time, drastically reducing its effectiveness to keep your engine cool, especially in warmer climates. Replace your worn radiator with a big upgrade from the professionals at CSF Radiators. These guys have been in business for more than forty years and are a family owned business that you can trust.
