With the release of the LML Duramax in 2011, GM made the switch from the reputable CP3 injection pump to the lower output CP4 pump. We've seen numerous failures of the CP4 on stock trucks. Fleece Performance has this complete conversion kit that delivers everything you need to swap out your failure prone CP4 to a dependable CP3, including the CP3 pump.
Convert your 2011-2016 Duramax's fuel system from a CP4 to a CP3 high pressure pump and get performance and piece-of-mind. This kit includes all of the hardware necessary to replace the troublesome CP4 with a CP3 and requires no tuning changes and maintains all factory emissions controls.

Our kits provide you with OEM quality components including a brand new Bosch CP3, Fleece exclusive molded hoses for the fuel feed and return, high flow CP3 fuel fittings, and our valley feed line to support aftermarket lift pump and filter applications.
Why convert your LML's Fuel System from a CP4 to a CP3
The stock CP4 is only capable of supporting up to ~500rwhp. A stock CP3 is capable of supporting 600+ rwhp in conjunction with the piezoelectric injectors.
The CP4 was introduced as a cost reduction to the LML platform since a smaller amount of fuel is required when running the more efficient piezoelectric injectors. Since its introduction it has proven to be less reliable and less capable than the CP3 used in previous Duramax platforms.

TIMELINE OF FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING:- 2008: Fleece Performance Engineering was established in North Salem, IN by Brayden and Chase Fleece. Both had a passion for continuously innovating and improving upon products already on the market. Brayden's 2004.5 LLY Duramax became the test bed to develop the TurboBrake and Duramax Cheetah, while Chase's 2002 Cummins was one of the first Cummins pickups to integrate an Allison Transmission.
- 2012: Fleece Performance upgrades both facility and location by relocating to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg, IN situated among some of the top racing leaders in the world.
- 2014: Fleece Performance acquires the area's premier engine machine shop, Freedom Racing Engines. The acquisition enables Fleece Performance to expand the engine development program and product offerings. Today, Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines build some of the most competitive engines in the industry.
- 2018: Fleece Performance breaks ground on a new 75,000 sq. ft. facililty in Pittsboro, IN.
- 2019: Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines relocates to its new facility in Pittsboro, IN. The all new headquarters provides additional space for product development, production and work areas, assembly and testing, a larger warehouse, as well as four engine dynamometers, and two-story office space.
- 2020: Fleece Performance receives ISO9001:2015 Certification.
- 2021: Fleece Performance Engineering was voted as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
- 2022: Fleece Performance Engineering was voted again as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
