What if you have a plastic oil plug on your 12 6.7 powerstroke do they make a special plug like this one??
They do not.
If I would to install this quick oil drain on my 5.9 Cummins my main concern is I do a bit of offroading I'm a pushtruck at the Knoxville raceway and I'm just worried about it opening and all my oil drains while my truck is running and I blow the motor bc it opened. So my question is what is the safe guards besides the hose clamp that you are showing to prevent that from happening?
We see this question quite often, this however is not a issue we have ever ran into. As the tab is under quite a bit of pressure, and must be pushed down and left to open. The clamp doubles that protection.
Now you see I don't seem really comfortable with that answer bc I looked up the manufacturer of this product and in what they sell they give you a very good safe gaurd then (hose clamp will do) is what you guys say. So truly if your selling the product then why does the safe gaurd come with it.?
I can not follow what your question here, I would suggest to give us a call.
