Description
Much like the Super PhatShaft, the Silver Series was designed to handle multiple fueling upgrades, and comes in three sizes: 62mm, 64mm, and 66mm. What separates the Silver PhatShaft from the Super Phatshaft is the new 74mm turbine wheel.To improve on the Super PhatShaft turbos, Industrial needed to improve performance at a lower RPM range and needed to reduce compressor surge. So they came up with the 74mm turbine, which is the latest in turbine trim design technology. This trim design transfers exhaust gas energy more efficiently than any other turbine on the market, allowing for better exhaust gas expulsion, which results in lower EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperature), and quicker rotor acceleration. The most important benefit of the 74 mm turbine wheel is that it gets rid of turbo surge and broadens the power band range.
Another identifying characteristic of the Silver series PhatShaft is the polished compressor housing. The Silver series utilizes the proven 14cm exhaust housing with a modified exhaust nozzle angle. The wastegate ports are also maximized and the wastegate chamber is enlarged for full wastegate travel. Like all PhatShaft turbochargers, they are equipped with dual grooved high performance bearings and an adjustable boost elbow. The Silver series chargers have been proven to support up to 800hp and are the best turbochargers on the market today.
IMPORTANT NOTE: 2004.5-2007 5.9L Cummins may require a Boost Fooler / Wastegate Sensor Fooler with the installation of a PhatShaft turbo.

With hard work, sacrifice, and a little help from fate, 30-year-old Brady opened the doors to Industrial Injection.
Industrial Injection received its name from servicing construction, agricultural, and mining equipment, as well as over the road truck engines. It was primarily an agricultural and industrial fuel shop. However, when Ford, Dodge and GM decided to power pickup trucks with diesel engines, Industrial Injection was forever changed.
