Description
All of the Common Rail Cummins feature a relief in the fuel rail which is designed to relieve pressure once it sees roughly 25,000 PSI to avoid damage to the stock injectors. However, most chips and programmers are designed to deliver pressure higher than this, causing the higher pressure fuel to not get to the injectors, losing power, and eventually causing the failure of the stock pressure relief valve. This simple device will block off the relief valve located on your fuel rail, ensuring that ALL rail pressure is delivered to the injectors, gaining power on the top end.

About Industrial Injection

With one of the most recognized names in the diesel performance industry, Industrial Injection has earned their reputation.

INDUSTRIAL INJECTION DIESEL PERFORMANCE

Industrial Injection's innovative product line has proven itself, over and over again, on the street and the strip. Diesel Power Products carries the complete line of turbos, twin turbos, injectors, stock and modified P7100's, stock and Hot Rod Vp44's, stock and modified Cp3 injection pumps and dual feed lines for both Duramax and Cummins. Industrial Injection is a family operated business, founded by Brady Williams, in 1985 and currently owned and operated by his wife and sons. Bradys initial start in fuel injection was with a local shop, mopping floors after school. By 25, Brady was a master technician at the Association of Diesel Specialists for all manufactures of turbochargers and fuel equipment. With hard work, sacrifice, and a little help from fate, 30-year-old Brady opened the doors to Industrial Injection.

Industrial Injection received its name from servicing construction, agricultural, and mining equipment, as well as over the road truck engines. It was primarily an agricultural and industrial fuel shop. However, when Ford, Dodge and GM decided to power pickup trucks with diesel engines, Industrial Injection was forever changed.

Diesel Talk | Common Rail Pressure Relief Valves and Plugs
A Fuel Rail Pressure Relief Valve is a fairly simple part that can cause a host of problems on common rail diesel engines. If it’s time to replace you have two options; a stock replacement which will bleed off pressure at a predetermined amount, or a “race plug” which doesn’t. Typically, those running performance parts like a tuner, lift pump, larger injectors, etc. will opt for the plug. This means you: 2003 – Current 5.9L / 6.7L Cummins, 2001- Current 6.6L Duramax’s, and 2011 – Current 6.7L Powerstroke’s! If you have any questions let us know!
