Swapping injectors on a 24 valve is a breeze compared to many other applications, but if you want to make this job easy as possible, pick up one of these injector removal tools to take any possible headache out of the equation. The most common way people pull the injectors is to take two allen wrenches and use them as mini pry bars off of the injector hold down. Now, this works, but it typically results in slipped allen wrenches numerous times until they finally bite. With this simple puller tool, you won't even have to think about a slipped wrench. Just slip the barrel over and tighten.....DONE!
This kit from Tork Teknology not only includes their injector removal tool, but also a connector tube removal tool for a complete kit. The included connector tube removal tool is machined from large stock, so you have a larger knurled head to assist in tube removal. Tork Tek built it so you can bottom the tool in the head and the tube is easily removed. The remover acts like a jack screw. On really stuck tubes, the large head allows you to pry on the back side of the head.
