We've all seen it, two tie downs (at best) strapped across a tire, creating an to keep a spare tire in place. Not only is this redundant work, the tire can become loose as one of the straps slides across the lugs. The Y-Strap from Mac's is the end-all solution for securing your spare tire.
Mac's Y-Strap is more than another Y-Strapit works well. With two adjustable legs connected via Mac's exclusive Direct D-Slide, getting this strap centered on your wheel is now a simple task. Further, 5,000lb rated flat snap hooks at all corners ensure a strong connection and Mac's EZ Release handle is substantially more robust than the competition.
In order to provide a secure mounting point for your Y-Strap, we highly recommend the use of Mac's Anchor Plates at each connection point (three). Select from the options, and for more information on the Anchor Plates, please see the Related Products section.
