Constructed from high-quality cast aluminum right here in the USA, this heavy duty transmission pan from Mag-Hytec keeps your transmission remarkably cooler than your stock pan. This dramatic increase in heat dissipation happens for three reasons: First, the cast aluminum deals with heat in a vastly better manner than the stock steel pan. Second, Mag-Hytec designed the pan with internal heat sink fins as well as external cooling fins--a winning combination of oil cooling capability! Third, this pan holds way more fluid than stock. Cool, dense fluid is always a good way to keep temperatures under control.
Mag-Hytec also went to work to make sure this pan comes with a host of other features. To keep your fluid clean, the pan comes standard with a magnetic drain plug--designed to pull harmful ferrous metal particles right out of the oil long before they have any chance of hurting your transmission. Next, the pan features a pre-tapped 1/8 NPT port for those who wish to install a temperature probe--capped with a stainless steel plug when not in use. Finally, an o-ring is used to seal the pan instead of messy sealant and gaskets. This pan allows you to drive your truck hard without fear of transmission heat damage!
IMPORTANT NOTES:- Will not work with Cab & Chassis trucks which have an Aisin transmission, nor 2013+ pickup models with the High Output option and Aisin transmission (only fits models with 68RFE transmission)
