Description
Have you ever finished draining your engine oil, and started to tighten down your drain plug to what you thought was an acceptable torque, and all of a sudden, the bolt free spins.....not a fun day. This unfortunate incident is all too frequent with the early model 6.7L's as they featured a plastic oil pan, but still prevalent with the later models featuring a steel pan. Prevent this by upgrading with a Mag-Hytec oil pan. The Mag-Hytec Engine Oil Pan also features an aluminum finned design that aids in heat dissipation, especially with its ability to hold an additional two quarts of oil over the stock unit.
