Give your Ram some added altitude for additional ground clearance and a whole new attitude. This 4" Radius Arm Drop System uses a pair of 1/4" thick steel radius arm relocation brackets to reposition the factory radius arms and correct suspension geometry and caster at 4" of lift. These brackets are designed for quick installation and create a stout mounting location for the radius arms by tying into both the factory radius arm frame mount and the side of the frame rails.

The additional height comes from a pair of specially designed progressive rate ProRide coil springs. The 4" coils have been engineered and tested to improve the ride quality and performance across all terrains while holding up to the rigors that heavy duty truck owners demand. A heavy duty track bar relocation bracket is included to recenter the front axle once lifted as well as a forged drop pitman arm to correct steering angles. Sway bar relocation brackets are used to reposition the front sway bar assembly and the supplied brake line brackets allow for the easy adjustment for the stock lines to be reused with the lift kit.

In the rear, 1/4" steel, 3.5" tall gusseted air bag spacers are used along with a rear track bar bracket to correct axle positioning, extended length sway bar links, and bump stop extensions. BDS supplies new air ride leveling sensor brackets to position the ride height sensors at the stock angle. This allows the rear suspension to be perform just like it does at factory ride height and maintain full air bag range of motion. The rear suspension is rounded out with your choice of NX2 series or FOX 2.0 shocks.

Shock Options

You have the choice between the standard BDS NX2 or Fox 2.0 Series shocks, as well as single or duals.

NX2 Single - BDS NX2 series gas shocks offer impressive performance on and offroad. They use a nitrogen charged, twin tube design with 10-stage velocity sensitive valving for lightning fast dampening and superior control.

Fox 2.0 Single - Fox 2.0 performance series shocks have been tuned and tested by both Fox and BDS Suspension to maximize performance specific to each application and to every BDS Suspension system. The basic shock design is based on proven Fox Racing Shox race products, but re-designed to maximize the ride quality, handling, and control of your BDS equipped truck or jeep, whether on or off the road.

NX2 Dual - This new accessory kit for the popular new Ram trucks allows for an additional shock at each of the front corners of the vehicle for extra control.
The full hoop design works with the factory axle shock mount and locates the dual shocks to the back side of the coil spring, mimicking the factory shock location. The hoop itself is made from 1.75" x 0.188" wall DOM tubing with a reinforced mounting tab that locates off the factory upper shock mount. 2 addition mount points at the frame make for a strong design that looks great. There is a stainless steel "BDS" riveted to the shock hoop that matches the BDS dual stab kit and 4-link bracket name plates.
Minor welding is required to add a support gusset to the factory axle shock mount and to add the provided steering stops if the tire/wheel combo installed gets too close to the shocks. Can be used with either 5500 series or Fox 2.0 shocks.

Sway Bar Disconnects

This kit allows a standard Ram heavy-duty trucks to enjoy the added articulation of a disconnected sway bar. The new sway bar links are made from 7/8" solid steel bar and feature greaseable, high-misalignment polyurethane bushings. All mounting hardware is included for simple, bolt on installation. The disconnect pins are made from stainless steel and make disconnecting easy via the removable pin clip. A set of lanyards with easy-to-grip buckles are included in the kit to retain the sway bar when disconnected. This kit also includes standard mounting hardware that can be installed in place of the disconnect pin for those that want a fixed mounted link.

Adjustable Track Bar

Upgrade to a BDS Heavy Duty Adjustable Rear Track Bar.
The upgraded track bar allows for quick and precise tuning ability for re-centering the rear axle. In addition to the improvements in strength and adjustablility compared to the stock track bar, it also provides better control of the rear axle by replacing the soft factory rubber bushings with high durometer polyurethane at the frame and a forged COM bearing joint at the axle. Both ends are rebuildable and the poly bushings are greaseable. Can be used with or without track bar relocation when needed for heights of 0-8".
Technical Features: - Steel tube construction, 1-3/4" x 1/4" wall DOM
- Fully welded, greaseable frame mount end uses high-durometer polyurethane bushings
- Frame bushing sleeve is knurled to bite into the mount, creating a non-slip connection
- Steel forged adjustable end threads into precision machined, fully welded thread insert
- Forged end has fine 1" thread for fine-tune adjustment and strength
- High load capacity COM bearing insert has an injection molded race for long life and quite operation
- COM bearing inserts are precision machined for exact fit and mimic the stock bushing width for use in the factory mount as well as any relocation brackets designed for a stock bar

If you have a two piece rear drive shaft, we recommend adding this carrier bearing drop to avoid any potential driveline vibration with the added lift height.

OPTIONAL TRANSFER CASE INDEXING RING KITS:
With added lift comes additional leverage on your transfer case, which can lead to driveshaft vibrations in certain conditions. The best way to alleviate this issue is by installing an indexing ring that lowers the departure angle of your driveshaft. These trucks could have two different configurations, a 6 bolt and an 8 bolt. Beyond physically inspecting you can determine which is right for your truck based upon what transmission you have. For 68RFE automatic transmissions and G56 manual transmissions, they'll use a 6 bolt, but the Aisin equipped automatics will require the 8 bolt.
