Head gasket failure is one of the most common problems with 6.0L Powerstroke's. Installing ARP headstuds is a must, especially if you are running a chip or programmer that modifies your boost It is for good reason that virtually every top professional engine builder relies on ARP Pro Series head studs for their all-out competition powerplants. Simply stated, there's not a better stud setup on the market today. ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to aircraft quality. Then, each stud is placed vertically in special racks and precisely heat-treated to 200,000 psi. ARP studs are thread rolled after heat-treat, which gives them about 1000% (that's ten times) better fatigue strength than those studs that are threaded prior to heat-treat (a very common industry practice). You wont find a better quality stud on the market from any other source.

I just installed these on a 2006 F250 6.0L with the cab on. Yes it can be done and yes it is worth it. These are a good price for these head studs and the peace of mind they give me is so worth it. 210 Ft/lb of torque is a little bit of space is not easy but I look forward to tuning this truck and rocking the HP and torque.

Would buy over and over
Use for a daily driver,. prevention of head bolt failure is worth the money spent
Thank you for the money. While it may not be ""cheap"" insurance, if it prevents the imminent head gasket failure, it definitely is less expensive than that fix!

Got the arp studs for my 2004 powerstroke and I'm loving it I feel so confounding in the gaskets now with them being held down with the studs and I think they will hold up so much better with all the other upgrades I have going on it. I really like the support whek I called to learn abot the studs the guy was nice and easy to undertake and knew what he was talking about and you can't beat the killer price the best around have nothing to say and about these guys there in it to win it.
Thank you for the great review. Upgrading with some ARP's, especially on a 6.0L, gives a ton of added insurance against future failures.
Hey it says stud kit so my question is weather or not it is just the stud kit or gaskets with it and if they arp live bottle is with it. Thanks, Dalton?
These will only be studs and nuts, the stud lubricant packet is included.
