IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • If your truck is equipped with an automatic transmission, you will need to move the transmission lines on the passenger side out of the way. For trucks 99-mid 2001 the transmission lines can be bent to clear the intercooler. For 2002-2003 models the transmission cooler lines come out the top of the cooler and will interfere with installation of the intercooler. To resolve this interference you can get the 6.0L transmission cooler with hoses from Ford.
  • We do offer the intercooler as a stand alone unit.  However, we recommend using our hose adapters and clamps for a complete installation kit.
  • Reuses factory intercooler tubes

Wow I never thought it would make that much d...
Wow I never thought it would make that much difference! !!! I dropped 300 off my EGT running both programs. I would recommend this to everyone that has any concerns about heat. My truck is a six speed and it bolted in and was as simple of a upgrade as I have ever done. I am going to put one in my daughters truck and will get back to tell how difficult it was on a automatic ....

I have a 2000 ford excursion with a 5.9 cummins in it. I am currently running a stock 6.0 intercooler until last weekend when one of the plastic side tanks melted off of the intercooler. Is the 25536 a direct replacement for the stock 6.0 intercooler? I really don't want to make new CAC pipes again. Also how do I order just the intercooler without pipes or hoses? Also I just wanted to make sure that the 25536 has both a 3.5"" inlet and outlet? Thanks for your time.?

That is a retrofit 6.0 intercooler for installing in a 7.3 truck. I do know there is a process for the retrofit but should fit your application being you are already running a 6.0 cooler. Yes 3.5"" in and out. The listing is just for an intercooler the hoses/clamps are in the extra drop down menu.

Hi I currently own a banks intercooler for my truck and I just need the boot kit to get it to fit into my truck. Do you sell the boot kit alone? Also will this fit with just stock intercooler tubes? Thank you very much?

If you are looking for the boot kit that would work with the retrofit of a 6.0L intercooler on your 7.3L, you would need 2) DPP-OH105 boots and 2) of the DPP-94158-0378 clamps. These boots will allow you to use your stock tubes with the 6.0L intercooler.

Does the kit include the banks tubes as well. Or do they need to be purchased separate??

This kit does not include the inter-cooler piping, however there is an option to add hoses and clamps.

Hello, Would this 6.0 banks clear the radiator in a 97 7.3? I have enough metal fabrication skills to make mounts where needed. But if the radiator is too big for example that's creating too much work for me.?

We have never tried retro fitting this to a 94-97 body truck. This will most likely be much to large, and require lots of fabrication.

Before I buy a 6.0 TC cooler, help me understand where it goes. From your photo it seems the 7.3 cooler lines make it too high to fit the banks IC, but the 6.0 is twice as tall. Don't we have a problem? Where exactly is the clearance issue? Or should I get a generic TC cooler to sandwich in wherever it may fit? Do you have a You tube install video? Please advise.?

Is there anyway to get this with the banks twin air manifold that comes with the banks technicooler system or are the tube sizes completely wrong for that application??

We do not offer it that way currently no.

will the boots and clamps that come with this intercooler kit fit the afe intercooler tubes or do you need to purchase another set of boots and clamps.?

These would most likely not be compatible, as they are primarily designed to work with the OEM tubes.

In the description you state - "" with a few simple modifications"" ... My question; Is the Banks 6.0L Intercooler itself been modified or is it as delivered from Banks??

As delivered, you have to retro fit the truck to accept the cooler. And get the different hoses.
