Get fueling where you need it with this simple spring from Industrial Injection. So if you have modified injectors, or installed a Power Pin, and just not seeing the results in the higher RPM you're looking for, this replacement governor spring will solve your problems by allowing the pump to fuel to 3200 RPM. Using this spring will make your truck more drivable (and fun), by broadening your powerband, or the amount of time the truck makes usable power.

Was a straight forward install and made the drive around town way better! I installed it in my 77 Ford with a 4BT and it really woke it up. Now the split between 4th and 5th gear isn't as bad since I can get my rpm's up. You can't beat this low buck upgrade!

I would buy again
The spring works as it should. Makes a difference in performance. Make sure you line the throttle linkage back up to the second slot
Thanks for the review and the quick tip.

Good product. fit well, and shipped quickly
Thanks for the review. Its amazing what such a simple spring can do. One of the beauties of owning a 1st Gen!
I have a 1990 1st gen 3.9 l 4bt and am wondering if this spring will work in such (since the add says that it's for a 5.9).?
Yes that will fit in a 4bt application. SA
Can this be used on a stock, non-intercooled 1991 6BT without installing new injectors or any other components? I'm more focused on fuel efficiency over power but looking for more RPM flexibility with what power I do have.?
Yes, it can be used on a stock truck. -Ben
