Description
Rougher terrain can expose some critical parts of your truck to dings, scrapes, and the occasional major collision. A bad hit near your tank and you will be spilling diesel fuel in one of the furthest places from a mechanic or gas station. Nothing is worse than spending so much on getting your truck ready for off-roading and then having some bad luck cause you thousands of dollars and a weekend stranded. Get piece of mind when going over challenging terrain with AEV's skid plates.
Made out of hot-stamped boron steel, lightweight with extremely high yield strength, these skid plates are super tough but not bulky so you won't have to surrender ground clearance. Developed, tested, and validated on the same level as OEM, these skid plates perform correctly so you can be sure they won't block airflow or trap debris.
FUEL TANK BRACE KIT
Drilling will be required on non-ZR2/AT4X trucks (some early 2023 models as well) to install. Riv-nuts are included in the base kit but if you require more add-on an alternative pencil brace to ease installation.

With the original unveiling of the Prospector at the SEMA Show in 2014, AEV has gained and continued to build on the notoriety they have had for years in the Jeep market, but now within the Ram HD community. While its true there are numerous other companies producing wheels, bumpers, and suspension systems for this application, you would be hard pressed to find another company that does it with the amount of finesse as AEV. And even more difficult, a company that has built all of their components to work in harmony with one another, but work just as well when used as individual components.
