Description
For some reason, GM thought it was a good idea to use plastic on the factory charge tubes in your L5P Duramax. These plastic tubes are not only susceptible to cracking, but they are very restrictive as well. In the new age of emissions equipped diesel trucks, any improvement in airflow aids in vehicle performance and fuel economy. Swap out your factory charge piping and install the AFE BladeRunner Aluminum Charge Pipes.
These pipes feature an aluminum construction and are mandrel bent to decrease turbulence and minimize power loss. These pipes feature a smooth transition between the turbo and engine for lower operating temperatures and increased power. Each pipe is attached using 5-ply polyester reinforced silicone couplings and stainless-steel, spring loaded t-bolt style clamps. To finish these off, a wrinkle black powder coating and a laser etched AFE Power logo for a true custom look.
