In some cases, when replacing a turbocharger in your Ram 6.7L Cummins, you will find a cracked exhaust manifold. The heat cycles that the manifold is exposed to and its one-piece design create extra stress in between the exhaust ports that can eventually lead to cracks. The BD Screamer and Exhaust Manifold Package takes care of two problems with one convenient package. SCREAMER TURBO:There are numerous turbo upgrades on the market for 6.7L Cummins. However, the majority of these upgraded turbos require you to eliminate the factory VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) in favor of a non-VGT, also requiring a different exhaust manifold, and numerous other items to make the conversion. In doing so, you also lose your factory exhaust brake. While these upgraded turbos are an excellent upgrade for those looking to make big power or eliminate the VGT for various reasons, for most, its simply not necessary or feasible. If you're like many and just want a good, reliable turbo that you can literally drop in place of the original and get a big boost in performance, this Screamer Turbo from BD is your answer.Featuring an upgraded 64.5mm Ballistic Compressor Wheel and Low MOI (Moment of Inertia) 70mm Quick Spool 12 Blade Turbine Wheel, you'll see a huge gain in airflow which equates to more power, lower temperatures, and better fuel economy. Further, it features a brand new, factory Holset VGT actuator. Most other companies use either cheap, aftermarket actuators or reuse core (used) actuators, but unfortunately, all of these fail, and the only method to ensure reliability is starting with a brand new unit from the original manufacturer.BD 2-PIECE EXHAUST MANIFOLD:BD's manifold is cast from high-silicon ductile iron which can withstand extremely high temperatures, as well as the additional weight created by bigger single or twin turbo systems. Further, an expansion joint allow the manifold to expand and contract without cracking, creating exhaust leaks.BD's 6.7L Exhaust Manifold is designed to bolt directly in place of the factory manifold with a factory style turbo flange mount. Your EGR cooler will also bolt up directly without any modifications for a seamless installation.Of course, it wouldn't be a BD product if it didn't offer the benefit of improved performance. As its name would suggest, this manifold is pulse-tuned for more efficient combustion chamber evacuation and higher exhaust flow. The result is quicker turbo spool-up, reduced back pressure, more power, and better fuel economy.

BD DIESEL TRANSMISSION UPGRADESTransmissions have a singular but ambitious challenge - to transfer all the torque from the diesel engine to the drive wheels. This must be accomplished while maintaining shift quality and minimizing NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness). With stock or OE configurations, this capacity challenge is somewhat less than extraordinary. Comparatively, a high output diesel that develops 2-4 times the original engine torque and keeping stellar driving characteristics at this power level becomes a new feat. BD EXHAUST BRAKESBD built its reputation on exhaust brakes starting in the early 90's with many casting designs for both engine and remote mount air actuated systems. Rugged cast-iron bodies with an offset stainless steel butterfly build peak efficiency quickly.

They are one of a select few injection shops in North America to have Bosch Common Rail parts and an overhaul and testing franchise. BD Diesel rebuilds most all mechanical and electronically-controlled fuel pumps and injectors for diesel engine applications.
