Description
Why go 4" when you could go so much higher? BDS Suspension has the kit to make your Ford SuperDuty into the monster you always knew it could be. BDS Suspension is well known in the aftermarket realm for producing some of the highest-quality lift kits. With the extra height you get from this lift kit you get the extra ground clearance you need to go off-road plus the room for massive 37" tires that let you blaze any trail. Planning on staying street-side? The extra height has a level of stance, performance, and stability you won't believe plus the quality parts that come with it will make it feel like it just drove off the lot. For BDS, it's not about being the quickest, cheapest product on the market. It's about producing a functional system that works cohesively with every component and the vehicle itself, all while not being the most expensive kit on the market either. This kit is centered around two Pro-Ride Coil Springs made specially by BDS to be diesel-specific and give unrivaled height and smoothness to your ride. Also, the box kit includes two new radius arm drop brackets to put the stock radius arm back at the factory angle which will maintain your stock driving characteristics. The kit also comes with heavy-duty radius arm drop brackets, forged drop pitman arm and track bar brackets for steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets, and custom-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. Rear Lift Options: Block Kit (With or Without Factory Overload)- Determine if your truck was manufactured with or without top-mounted overload springs on the rear leaf springs. You can check your owner's manual or look directly above the main leaf spring pack. The overload springs would be a smaller set of springs mounted on top of the main leaf springs. Leaf Springs- If you're looking to replace, this kit comes with a new set of leaf springs which eliminate the need for a lift block. These leaf springs maintain factory payload weight ratings while giving a more controlled and stable feel. Shock Options: NX2 Nitro Series Shocks - BDS NX2 series gas shocks offer impressive performance on and offroad. They use a nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving for lightning-fast dampening and superior control. FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks - Fox 2.0 performance series shocks have been tuned and tested by both FOX and BDS Suspension to maximize performance specific to each application and every BDS Suspension system. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) shock design is based on proven Fox Racing Shocks race products but re-designed to maximize the ride quality, handling, and control of your BDS-equipped truck, whether on or off the road. Steering Stabilizer Options: Dual NX2 Nitro Series: Is one not enough? Then upgrade to a dual steering stabilizer setup which gives further enhanced vehicle control and lessens side-to-side motion to a greater effect. Heavy off-roading requires a heavy suspension that can handle it but can still be smooth on asphalt. Dual FOX 2.0 Performance Series: Taking things even further is the dual FOX 2.0 setup. Built to last from the top up this performance setup will enhance control, reduce shimmy and bump steer, and improve tire wear and front-end component life. Protect your investment and smooth out your rough spots before they leave you figuratively hanging. Carrier Bearing Drop Kit Option:A 2-piece rear drive shaft will require some extra work as the geometry of your drive system will now have some added stress. We recommend adding this carrier bearing drop to avoid any potential driveline vibration with the added lift height. Front Adjustable Track Bar Option: When installing a lift kit, it's important to keep the correct geometry for your axle and the rest of the suspension system. If you don't, you will be adding extra stress where you don't want it and it can start to wear down your bushing, ball joints, and control arms. Use a rear adjustable track bar to keep proper alignment by centering the axle and giving you better handling on top. Recoil Traction Bar Option: Proper axle alignment can be a problem when you're taking your pickup into some tough situations. Add on a Recoil Traction Bar kit to add support and stability. Additionally, traction bars allow your tires to stay on the road or trail so you can lessen wheel hop in high-stress situations. Choose either Long Bed or Short Bed depending on your model. If not sure, measure your bed manually or check your owner's manual.

Installation Notes:
  • Estimated Installation: 8 hours
  • Difficulty Level (easy 1 - 5 complicated): 3
Important Kit Notes:
  • Removal of the factory block is required.
  • Installation of the rear block kit will result in a "pre-runner" look with the rear of the vehicle 2" lower than the front. To get a level stance you must upgrade to the rear leaf spring option.
  • These trucks were manufactured with and without top mounted overload springs on the rear leaf springs. A top mounted overload is an extra leaf separate from the pack that set above the main leaf. You will need to identify which you have before ordering.
  • If your vehicle is equipped with a carrier bearing, you will need to order 123402 in the options section.
  • Although extremely rare, front driveline vibration may occur.
  • Front exhaust modification may be required to clear the front driveshaft on gas models.
  • U-bolts will not fit dually models.
  • Dropped pitman arm will not fit 10 lug wide track F350 models.
  • Due to limitations of the factory block the rear of the vehicle will be 2" lower than the front. To obtain a level stance please select the rear leaf spring upgrade kit.
About BDS Suspension

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. With over 45 combined years experience with other major suspension companies, both buying and selling, the individuals that would make up the BDS name were frustrated by the lack of quality and the unwillingness to make things right by these 4x4 companies. So, they set out to create a suspension company that would be the best and made a list of the things they felt were not right and made it their mission to correct them.

One of the most important of these wrongs they were looking to right were that of other companies warranties. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.

BDS LIFT KITS

While most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted. Other popular "non lift kit" parts are leveling kits that include upgraded shocks, progressive rate coil springs, heavy duty control or radius arms, and even leaf springs.
