B&M Performance and Off-Road is proud to offer this Precision SportShifter for 2005.5 to 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 models equipped with the G56 6-speed manual transmission. The unit features a CNC billet aluminum case with an electric blue anodized finish. The housing contains internal components made from super tough 4140 Chromoly and reduces the shift-throw by almost 30% compared to the factory shifter. We also significantly increased the detent pressure to create a noticeably stiffer shift feel and prevent the transmission from popping out of gear. The shifter retains the factory shift stick and knob, and is covered by their Lifetime Limited Warranty.

A G56 Must Have!
"At this point, if you drive a manual transmission RAM, its either because you use your truck as a truck on a daily basis, or because you don't want to have to worry about confusing your shifting knob with your stereo volume knob. Either way, this short shifter helps you! The shorter throw makes it easier to keep your RPM's up while shifting if you're towing up a hill, and it also just makes your truck more fun to drive. I didn't realize before install just how much this shifter would actually shorten the throw, but it really is significant. I paired this short shifter with a weighted shift knob on the stock shaft, and it drives like a totally different truck now. This might not be the first upgrade you need to do, but you definitely need to do it!"
