The HE300VG Stealth Mach 1 64 is the perfect balance of power, drivability, and reliability. With an upgraded compressor wheel, turbine, and variable geometry nozzle assembly, this turbo has the ability to move 30% more air through it than stock, all while providing a better drive/boost pressure ratio than the stock charger. This means not only do you get more power, you also get an extremely fast spool up, comparable to that of the stock charger. If you tow or haul heavy loads on a regular basis this is the turbo for you. Quick spool up means taking off from stops is a breeze and the ability to retain your factory exhaust brake makes braking easier and saves your brake pads. Plus Calibrated's upgraded turbine wheel and HFV technology help to lower EGTs which gives you even more confidence when towing a heavy load up a steep grade. To top it all off this turbo comes with a brand new genuine HE300vg Holset actuator to ensure proper operation.
The crown jewel of this turbo is a custom 11 blade compressor wheel that delivers a wide efficiency range and can drive 41-45 psi of boost. It is built from light weight, yet strong, billet 7075 aluminum and will aid in reducing or even eliminating turbo surge when towing. On the opposite end of the turbo, the turbine wheel has been upgraded, as well, to deliver a distinctive sound and provide better efficiency to reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) and reduce drive pressure when under load.
In order to properly match the entire turbo, a custom Calibrated Power exclusive vane and shroud plate assembly was produced, dubbed the Stealth Nozzle Ring. This was precisely matched to the larger turbine and gives the turbo a wider volute path for class leading load performance. This wider path was achievered via taller and wider vanes that are capable of extracting more energy from the turbine, literally sucking the air out of the engine faster than stock, which in turn drives the shaft faster to bring IN more cold air.
Finally, this is built from a brand new turbo and genuine Holset electronics, meaning no core charge, and has been pre-calibrated with no custom tuning required!
