Description
When most people think about a "leveling kit," they think about a spacer that goes between the front coils and coil buckets to effectively raise the front of the truck several inches. While this type of product does "level" the truck for fitment of larger tires, it does absolutely nothing to improve upon the handling and overall suspension performance of the vehicle. In fact, this type of system will typically degrade these factors, as the existing shocks are over extended, the caster is not accounted for, and the axle is offset because the factory track bar is still in place. If you want to level your truck the right way, then this is the system for you! CARLI SPEC 2.0" REMOTE RESERVOIR SHOCKS The Backcountry 2.0 Suspension System from Carli is about leveling your truck the RIGHT way. It's designed for people seeking light to medium off-roading while still maintaining good on-road driving. Utilizing Carli SPEC 2.0″ diameter shocks tuned for slow to mid speed off road use as well as all-around comfort and ride quality while driving in town, on the highway, towing, or hauling. Carli SPEC 2.0 boasts an aluminum body, hardened steel shaft, and full rebuild-ability. The shocks contain premium 5WT oil to balance lubricity, consistent damping and the widest available range in temperature variation. Your truck will sit 2.5” higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. To accommodate the additional travel, the kit contains improved brake lines, an adjustable track bar, and caster adjusters to improve on the stock handling. ADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR The truck will sit 2.5” higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the lighter rate Carli Coil Springs. The Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle and Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. To round off the front end, Carli includes Caster Shims to tighten the steering and a fabricated, High-Clearance Bump Stop Drop to keep the springs clear from the contacting the factory bump stop. SWAY BAR OPTIONS The front Sway Bar Geometry will need to be addressed with your choice of a Sway Bar Drop Bracket (more economical, maintains the factory Sway Bar End Links) or our Extended Sway Bar links – a FAR more robust option. The replacement End Links are the only option compatible with a plow bracket. SWAY BAR DROP BRACKETS SPECIFICATIONS:Corrects sway bar geometry EXTENDED SWAY BAR LINKS SPECIFICATIONS: Extended length to accommodate leveled trucks 17-4 stainless steel, greasable and fully rebuildable Excellent articulation Only works on Carli leveling kits Rebuild parts TORSION SWAY BAR WITH LINKS SPECIFICATIONS: Direct fitment to Carli leveling lifts Replaces immobile factory sway bar with custom torsion bar Huge ride quality improvement Includes drop brackets and sway bar links Rebuild parts REAR LEAF SPRING OPTIONS The rear can be outfitted with a replacement Full Progressive Spring Pack (reduces capacity to a “light” ¾-ton) or factory leaf-pack modifying Progressive Add-a-Pack (eliminates the factory block and maintains payload capacity; pairs with a rear bump stop drop). This is where the F250 and F350 are a bit different. Since 2008, the main spring packs on these two trucks is different; the F250 has a lighter rate spring pack than its 350 counterpart. The F250 Add-a-Pack equipped systems are a nice improvement over stock; the F350 with the Add-a-Pack is still very stiff in the rear as the main pack doesn’t move much unless loaded. Carli recommends the Full Replacement Leaf Spring packs for both trucks but especially the F350 given the super-stiff factory springs. If capacity is a concern, an aftermarket airbag system should be installed to complement the Full Progressive Leaf Springs to restore the F350 capacity. Carli recommends a system that will allow the airbags to disconnect from the lower mount during suspension cycling to ensure you’re able to take advantage of all your rear suspension travel. The Full Progressive Leaf Spring Pack will shift the axle slightly forward in the wheel well to ensure maximum tire clearance for a 37” M/T at full compression. ADD-A-PACK SPECIFICATIONS: Bilt in the USA by Deaver Leaf Spring Smooth, progressive design Supplied with bump stop drops, u-bolts and hardware Pairs to Carli leveling lifts, provides 1/2"-1" high rear stance Eliminates the factory block Load capacity is maintained, ride quality is improved Super-Duties equipped with a factory 3-5/8" block will require the 2" factory block (Part numbers 7C3Z-5598-L, and 7C3Z-5598-K) to achieve a level stance. Fits 3.5″ axle tube. FULL PROGRESSIVE LEAF SPRING KIT SPECIFICATIONS: Block eliminating Includes new u-bolts and rear bump stop drops Provides a 1/2" rear high stance to Carli leveling suspension systems 37" tire fitment 3.5-4.0" axle tube HEAVY DUTY FULL PROGRESSIVE LEAF SPRING KIT SPECIFICATIONS: Block eliminating Designed for those with constant 1,000lbs in the bed Includes new u-bolts and rear bump stop drops Provides a 1" rear hight stance on matching 2.5" leveling suspension systems 37" tire fitment 3.5-4.0" axle tube LEAF SPRING SHACKLES SPECIFICATIONS: Much of the jarring ride of the Super Duty rear can be attributed to the factory vulcanized bushings in the leaf spring pack and shackle. The factory shackle is very strong BUT the design is not conducive to a smooth ride. The Carli shackle is constructed of 1/4″ American cold-rolled steel. The mid-length gusset ensures no deflection while the serviceable bushings offer a far superior ride to the bind of the factory bushings. Greasable and rebuildable Far better ride than factory shackle 1/4" steel construction Fits factory and Carli springs WHEEL AND TIRE FITMENT Factory Wheels SHOULD NOT be run with oversized tires. They’re known to rub the radius arm, sway bar and most concerning – Brake Lines. Factory tires and factory wheels will work without issue but Carli DOES NOT recommend running oversized tires on factory wheels. On our 2.5” Ford Systems, Carli recommends 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5.5” of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5” Backspace with factory arms; 5” will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37×12.5” will fit with some trimming; 35” will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter. IMPORTANT NOTES: Wheels: Carli recommends a 17"-18" wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5" - 5.5" of backspacing Tires: 35", E-rated tire is recommended. Tire pressure 45psi front, 40psi rear Configuration: Carli leveling systems are designed and tested on vehicles with 17"-18" wheels with 35", E-rated tires. Running stock wheels and tires or a larger wheel diameter will result in a stiffer ride. NO LEAF SPRING OPTION NOTES:Diesel Power Products and Carli strongly suggest the use of either options available. These options are designed to work flawlessly with the rest of your kit and, are the best way to go. However, we understand you may already have the necessary provisions and/or products to use with this kit so we give you the option to not include any leaf spring provisions. NO SWAY BAR OPTION NOTES:Diesel Power Products and Carli strongly suggest the use of either options available. These options are designed to work flawlessly with the rest of your kit and, are the best way to go. However, we understand you may already have the necessary provisions and/or products to use with this kit so we give you the option to not include any sway bar drop or Torsion Sway Bar provisions.

CARLI SUSPENSION KITS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPONENTS

Yeah, we know Sage Carli can launch a full sized truck over nearly any obstacle. If you are into Baja racing, everyone knows by now that Carli Suspension is the name to go with. What you may not realize is that Carli has a suspension kit for your needs too. You probably don't care anything about having your expensive truck go air born, but you do want the best performance out of your suspension for your application. Carli Starter and Commuter 2.0 systems are designed to give you the best possible street manners compared to any other system on the market while providing ample room for the larger tires you want. Potholes disappear, you find yourself building speed on corners and washboard, and that's just when you are on the way to work. Now imagine heading out to feed the cows WITHOUT hitting your head on the headliner. Imagine coming back from your hunting trip WITHOUT needing a trip to the chiropractor. Take another look at Carli Suspension. It's not all about Baja. It's about YOUR truck and what you do with it. Stop by, we'll give you a ride and show you what you're missing. Just bring the checkbook and permission from the boss! One ride and you'll be hooked!

CARLI KITS

The entire engineering philosophy behind Carli aims to offer the real world Dodge Ram and Ford SuperDuty a suspension system that drastically increases the street drive of the vehicle while offering incredible off-road characteristics. So far, Sage Carli's suspension systems are the only option available where you don't have to compromise.

Carli products are designed to meet the expectations of both the daily street driver and the most extreme avid off road enthusiast. From the urban streets to the most remote places, Carli products will far exceed all your expectations. The easiest way to put this into perspective is that Carli truly builds suspension systems for the enthusiast....the person who truly LOVES their truck and wants to upgrade it with the most thought out, tasteful upgrades on the market. No, this type of individual isn't going to head to Napa to pickup a new track bar. They're going to research the best possible track bar on the market and go that route. Carli Suspension is truly a brand for enthusiasts, featuring products that are built by enthusiasts. Just watch any of Carli Suspension's videos and you'll understand why they have such a passion for their products.

Stock production trucks are built mainly to keep costs down. From a truck enthusiast's point of view these standards simply are not acceptable. From people looking to get a better ride with a more aggressive stance to people looking to get some serious off road performance, Carli understands the needs of these enthusiasts. This is epitomized by the ever growing list of satisfied customers. Carli Suspensions relentless pursuit of producing the best performing suspension systems is something that can be felt every time a customer drives their truck. Carli wouldnt have it any other way.

CARLI COMPONENTS

You know, its not always about a complete suspension. In fact, some of our best selling Carli products are things like a track bar, Carli ball joints, shocks, coil springs, and more. Maybe you've got a clunk in your front end that has been nailed down to being from a worn out track bar bushing and you did your research (mentioned above) and found out that the best track bar for your Ram or Ford is from Carli, so you buy that one. Or maybe you want a better ride, but only want to replace the coil springs for now. No problem. Sure, Carli is centered around their entire systems, but nearly all of their components can be used interchangeably on a stock height truck or one with an existing leveling or lift kit. We do our best to make note of any fitment requirements on each product page, but if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and ask, we're happy to help.

Here at Diesel Power Products we only want to sell the best and lets face it, the stock Ram and Ford suspension needs help. Your stock suspension system is designed to be adequate and nothing more. Carli not only makes the ride of your truck better, it makes it safer. Whether you are towing a trailer on the interstate or doing a little off-road adventure, we will attest that you'll be more than satisfied by upgrading to Carli.
