Description
Sure, you could add a simple spacer on top of your coils to level our your SuperDuty, but wouldn't you rather actually improve the ride quality while also getting that level stance you're after? If so, check out this Leveling Kit from Carli Suspension. The Super Duty Leveling System is designed for people seeking the best on-road ride quality on a budget. Utilizing the Signature Series shocks, Carli developed a tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, and towing/hauling. Unlike most of Carli's suspension systems, the Leveling System was tuned with 20", factory wheels on factory Michelin tires given many in the entry level, 3.5" lift market want the most bang for their buck and will continue to run the factory wheels and tires. This system will not achieve a proper rear high stance without the installation of the add-a-pack; it will sit slightly rear low with no rear option added!  The F250 Add-a-Pack equipped systems are a nice improvement over stock; the F350 with the Add-a-Pack is still very stiff in the rear as the main pack doesn’t move much unless loaded. For this reason, we do not recommend the Add-a-pack on an F350 or Tremor (as they all have F350 springs); you’re best to leave the factory springs unmodified. One can install the 3″ factory rear block for a leveled stance but rear ride quality will not be optimized (Factory Block PN: HC3Z-5598-A and HC3Z-5598-B). The Add-a-Pack installs in place of the lower, factory overload spring effectively making the factory leaf spring pack progressive in nature. In the 2020 platform, the factory 2″ block is eliminated with the installation of the Add-a-Pack; thus, axle wrap and wheel hop are non-existent. A rear bump stop drop is included to bridge the distance lost by removing the factory block. Payload capacity is maintained and the rear end becomes a touch softer while being far more planted and predictable. The custom tuning in the rear Signature Series Shocks is optimized to control the combination of our Progressive Add-a-Pack combined with the factory main pack; it’s for this reason we advise against upgrading to the Full Progressive Spring Pack (too much rebound valving for a lighter rate spring).OPTIONAL COMPONENTS:Carli Adjustable Track Bar: Centers the axle at the new ride height utilizing a stronger suspension/steering link to prevent death-wobble and improve overall tracking and steering feel.Sway Bar Options: The Leveling System will ride best with the Torsion Sway Bar. Maintaining the factory sway bar through use of the Sway Bar Drops or Extended Link Kit is only recommended for customers with snow-plows, in-bed campers or who are constantly hauling to the capacity of the truck.Rear Shocks: Tuned to the factory leaf springs, these rear shocks balance the rear-feel to match the custom tune in your newly leveled Super Duty.High Mount Steering Stabilizer: This is a Bolt in replacement for the factory stabilizer. Adjustable from 70-200 psi to run neutral (no directional influence at 70psi) or at 200psi to counter the right-hand pull inherent to tires like Toyo Mud Terrains.Wheel and Tire: Factory Wheels SHOULD NOT be run with oversized tires. They’re known to rub the radius arm, sway bar and most concerning – Brake Lines. Factory tires and factory wheels will work without issue but we DO NOT recommend running oversized tires on factory wheels. On the 3.5” Ford Systems, Carli  recommend 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5.5” of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5” Backspace with factory arms; 5” will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37×12.5” will fit with some trimming; 35” will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter. IMPORTANT NOTES: WHEELS: Carli Recommends a 17"-18" Wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5"-5.5" of Backspacing on Leveling Systems TIRES: 35", E-Rated Tire Fitment is Recommended. Recommended unloaded Tire Pressure 45F/40R. RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION: Carli Leveling Systems are Designed and Tested on Vehicles with 17"-18" Wheels with 35", E-Rated Tires. Stock wheels and tires or running a larger wheel diameter will result in a stiffer ride. NO SWAY BAR OPTION NOTES:Diesel Power Products and Carli strongly suggest the use of either options available. These options are designed to work flawlessly with the rest of your kit and, are the best way to go. However, we understand you may already have the necessary provisions and/or products to use with this kit so we give you the option to not include any sway bar drop or Torsion Sway Bar provisions. IMPORTANT NOTE ON 2° PINION SHIM:*OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED* When modifying the rear leaf springs (add-a-pack or Full Spring Pack) of the 2017+ Super Duty platform, there's a small chance you'll induce a driveline vibration around 70mph when under power from the rear driveline. These pinion shims will correct the angle to 4°-5°, ideal for lifted applications. Although these will not be "required" on every truck, we've found the 4°-5° spec to be superior in these applications and these are FAR easier to install initially.

About Carli Suspension
CARLI SUSPENSION KITS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPONENTS

Yeah, we know Sage Carli can launch a full sized truck over nearly any obstacle. If you are into Baja racing, everyone knows by now that Carli Suspension is the name to go with. What you may not realize is that Carli has a suspension kit for your needs too. You probably don't care anything about having your expensive truck go air born, but you do want the best performance out of your suspension for your application. Carli Starter and Commuter 2.0 systems are designed to give you the best possible street manners compared to any other system on the market while providing ample room for the larger tires you want. Potholes disappear, you find yourself building speed on corners and washboard, and that's just when you are on the way to work. Now imagine heading out to feed the cows WITHOUT hitting your head on the headliner. Imagine coming back from your hunting trip WITHOUT needing a trip to the chiropractor. Take another look at Carli Suspension. It's not all about Baja. It's about YOUR truck and what you do with it. Stop by, we'll give you a ride and show you what you're missing. Just bring the checkbook and permission from the boss! One ride and you'll be hooked!

CARLI KITS

The entire engineering philosophy behind Carli aims to offer the real world Dodge Ram and Ford SuperDuty a suspension system that drastically increases the street drive of the vehicle while offering incredible off-road characteristics. So far, Sage Carli's suspension systems are the only option available where you don't have to compromise.

Carli products are designed to meet the expectations of both the daily street driver and the most extreme avid off road enthusiast. From the urban streets to the most remote places, Carli products will far exceed all your expectations. The easiest way to put this into perspective is that Carli truly builds suspension systems for the enthusiast....the person who truly LOVES their truck and wants to upgrade it with the most thought out, tasteful upgrades on the market. No, this type of individual isn't going to head to Napa to pickup a new track bar. They're going to research the best possible track bar on the market and go that route. Carli Suspension is truly a brand for enthusiasts, featuring products that are built by enthusiasts. Just watch any of Carli Suspension's videos and you'll understand why they have such a passion for their products.

Stock production trucks are built mainly to keep costs down. From a truck enthusiast's point of view these standards simply are not acceptable. From people looking to get a better ride with a more aggressive stance to people looking to get some serious off road performance, Carli understands the needs of these enthusiasts. This is epitomized by the ever growing list of satisfied customers. Carli Suspensions relentless pursuit of producing the best performing suspension systems is something that can be felt every time a customer drives their truck. Carli wouldnt have it any other way.

CARLI COMPONENTS

You know, its not always about a complete suspension. In fact, some of our best selling Carli products are things like a track bar, Carli ball joints, shocks, coil springs, and more. Maybe you've got a clunk in your front end that has been nailed down to being from a worn out track bar bushing and you did your research (mentioned above) and found out that the best track bar for your Ram or Ford is from Carli, so you buy that one. Or maybe you want a better ride, but only want to replace the coil springs for now. No problem. Sure, Carli is centered around their entire systems, but nearly all of their components can be used interchangeably on a stock height truck or one with an existing leveling or lift kit. We do our best to make note of any fitment requirements on each product page, but if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and ask, we're happy to help.

Here at Diesel Power Products we only want to sell the best and lets face it, the stock Ram and Ford suspension needs help. Your stock suspension system is designed to be adequate and nothing more. Carli not only makes the ride of your truck better, it makes it safer. Whether you are towing a trailer on the interstate or doing a little off-road adventure, we will attest that you'll be more than satisfied by upgrading to Carli.
