Ever had a shimmy in the backend of your Carli lifted Ford while underload? If you're running full spring packs and you have a 2020+ truck, it could be you're a little low on your pinion angle. Through lots of testing, Carli has come out with these 2 degree pinion shims to help get your truck back to riding smooth. Through their testing, they found it was happening only on 2020+ Ford trucks with Full Spring Packs. Factory leafs and/or Add-A-Leaf trucks along with 2005-2019 trucks did not display this issue.
For years, the thought was that 1-3 degrees was ideal for the rear pinion, even on lifted applications. Once you add softer leaf springs to the mix, you open up the opportunity to have that measurement move around a little more compared to a stock truck. Adding these Carli 2 degree shims puts you in the 4-5 degree range so that while under load, your pinion should be in a prime position. Results have shown with the setup that driving is smooth at all speeds and loads. If you've been feeling something funny going on with your rear, be sure to check out these Carli pinion shims!
IMPORTANT NOTE - NOT to be used with blocks.
