TIMELINE OF FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING:- 2008: Fleece Performance Engineering was established in North Salem, IN by Brayden and Chase Fleece. Both had a passion for continuously innovating and improving upon products already on the market. Brayden's 2004.5 LLY Duramax became the test bed to develop the TurboBrake and Duramax Cheetah, while Chase's 2002 Cummins was one of the first Cummins pickups to integrate an Allison Transmission.
- 2012: Fleece Performance upgrades both facility and location by relocating to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg, IN situated among some of the top racing leaders in the world.
- 2014: Fleece Performance acquires the area's premier engine machine shop, Freedom Racing Engines. The acquisition enables Fleece Performance to expand the engine development program and product offerings. Today, Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines build some of the most competitive engines in the industry.
- 2018: Fleece Performance breaks ground on a new 75,000 sq. ft. facililty in Pittsboro, IN.
- 2019: Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines relocates to its new facility in Pittsboro, IN. "I have a 2020 Ram 3500 with Aisin transmission. I can’t speak for the 68RFE transmission. To add the mod Fleece instructs you to permanently remove the power flex bracket that connects the engine to the transmission. My stock powertrain combination generates more than 1000 ft lbs of torque and cummins team of engineers decided this engine transmission combo needed to have an extra 1/2” thick steel mounting bracket(power flex bracket) to keep them connected. I couldn’t comprehend how removing that bracket permanently for better engine cooling would be a good idea. It just seems like a recipe to cause failures at the input shaft that could be very costly down the road. I opted not to install until a better design is available for the Aisin. I believe the 68RFE trans does not have this bracket, The fleece bypass would be a great addition for that powertrain combo IMO."

Nice looking product. But,
"the directions are miss leading. It shows various views of the freeze plug in the back of the block being removed. One view with head in place. Another view with head removed to install thermostat housing. Found only one video of thermostat housing install with head and transmission in place. This is not an easy install. Three shops I contacted quote over $1k to do install. Most stating that they would remove transmission to do install correctly !"

- What is the opening temperature of the bypass thermostat? This is for a 2022 Ram 3500 with HO 6.7 and Aisin trans.
- Opening temperature is going to be 184 degrees.
