Description
Knowing the coolant temperature of your engine is extremely crucial in preventing overheating, which could potentially leave you stranded, or even worse it could damage your engine. Most vehicles come equipped with a coolant temperature gauge, however many people are unaware that the reading on the stock gauge is not an exact reading, but more of a general indicator because the on-board computer sends the temperature data through an algorithm before deciding what the gauge should show. Often times this means the gauge won't show overheating until the last minute, and at that point it could be too late. In order to get an exact reading at all times, you'll want to install a coolant temperature gauge from ISSPRO.EV² electronic gauges include an integral programmable warning light, which may be activated if you select the checkbox above to add the programmer tool. The programmer can also be used to adjust the backlighting curve to perfectly match the factory dash lights, and can also adjust the amount of signal filtering/smoothing that the software performs.
