Description
By installing an engine oil temperature gauge, you can identify any excessive heat or temperature spikes that may indicate potential issues, such as inadequate cooling, lubrication problems, or cooling system malfunctions. Timely detection of high oil temperatures helps protect your engine from damage and ensures its longevity. Additionally,the viscosity of oil varies depending on the temperature, and having an oil temperature gauge helps you ensure that the oil is within the ideal operating range. This allows the oil to provide effective lubrication to engine components.EV² electronic gauges also include an integral programmable warning light, which may be activated if you select the checkbox above to add the programmer tool. The programmer can also be used to adjust the backlighting curve to perfectly match the factory dash lights, and can also adjust the amount of signal filtering/smoothing that the software performs.
