Leitner Designs GearPOD DUAL for ACS Bed Racks

Leitner GearPODs are the ultimate in storage on your rack. The original GearPOD is great because of it's small size, allowing multiples to be installed on each side. Problem with that is that is a lot of doors, hinges, locks and wasted space between units. The GearPOD XL was a great solution for this as it took up the space of 3 GearPODs but all in one unit. The downside to this is that a GearPOD XL could potentially take up one whole side of your rack. This is where the GearPOD DUAL comes into play. The GearPOD DUAL is larger than a GearPOD but smaller than a GearPOD XL... it's just the right size! Measuring 32 inches long, it's about twice the size of a GearPOD. It has a spring activated "Leitner Lid Lifter" for easy opening and closing, improved water resistant seal, and re-engineered brackets for maximum strength. With this footprint, the GearPOD DUAL is a great addition to the 5 and 6ft long truck bed rack customers so that they can have plenty of gearpod storage on each side with room for additional accessories like the HydroPOD and Universal Mounting Plate. While most truck toolboxes use up valuable space in your truck bed and are difficult to load and unload, the ACS integrated gear box is side-mounted. The side mounting allows quick and easy access to all your adventure gear while keeping it safe from the elements with an automotive-grade silicon seal. The GearPOD DUAL follows in the footsteps of the original GearPOD but with 2X the storage volume, 18.75 gallons (75 Quarts). The GearPOD DUAL installs easily on all Leitner Designs ACS racks using 6 TrakLOK nuts and grade 10.9 bolts. The pod features 2 locking latches as well as a padlock hasp on each end for extra security. IMPORTANT NOTES: The GearPOD, GearPOD DUAL, and the GearPOD XL are specifically engineered to work in unison with the Active Cargo System ONLY. Mounting Leitner GearPODs on any rack other than the Leitner Active Cargo System will void the Leitner Warranty against breakage or malfunction issues. Every effort has been made to make the GearPOD as water tight as possible. However, due to manufacturing tolerance, driving conditions, and weather, it is not recommended to store items that can be damaged by water before placing them in their own airtight container.
