Description
In 2005, Ford switched from the traditional front leaf spring suspension design in favor of coil springs and radius arms. Since this switch, one thing most SuperDuty owners share in common is a feeling of a "floaty" steering wheel, especially on the 2017+ platforms and just a general loose or wandering front end. There are several ways to rectify this from adding additional caster and other alignment tricks, but one huge piece to the puzzle is a heavy duty steering stabilizer, and there's really no better upgrade than the addition of a quality dual steering stabilizer kit, such as this kit from PMF Suspension. This kit is entirely bolt on with your choice of stabilizer options. You will notice a smoother steering wheel and less road input when hitting potholes and road imperfections. The decreased shock load on steering and track bar components will help longevity of all of these pieces. There are two mounting options for the stabilizer. They can either be mounted below or above the center mount, which allows the kit to work on stock height trucks or above on lifted trucks to give the most possible ground clearance. This keeps the shocks away from road debris and obstacles.  The outer mounts are built from heavy duty 3/8" plate to prevent them from deforming when tightening down the ubolts and is gusseted both top and bottom to give you a solid center mount. SHOCK OPTIONS: No Added Shocks - This option presumes you'll be supplying your own shocks and will include the mounting bracket and all necessary hardware, ready for you to install your own supplied shocks. Bilstein 5100 - These stabilizers offer a high quality, affordable shock with a steel body and zinc plated finish.  Featuring a gas over hydraulic design to prevent fade in any environment.  The shocks include removable black boots. Fox 2.0 IFP - 2.0" Metal impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body construction for long term protection from rust.  Internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design separates oil from nitrogen charge.  Black anodized billet end caps and components.  Redundant seals, wiper seals, and scraper seals give this excellent longevity and durability.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTES:
  • There may be modifications needed to attach center mount to the differential cover if you are running an aftermarket cover. PMF designed the bracket to have as much clearance at this location to reduce the amount of modification needed to Mag-Hytec and other similar covers. However, some grinding/milling will probably be necessary.
  • This kit does not work on stock height 2020+ trucks that came equipped with the lower build height (equipped with 2" rear block from Ford typically found on most F-250 models) and will require a 1" lift in the front in order for this to work. Tremor and the taller build package (trucks with a 3.25" rear block) will work fine at stock height.
KIT CONTENTS:
  • (1) Center mount
  • (1) Backside clamp
  • (2) Outer mounts
  • (4) Ubolt clamps
  • (1) Hardware kit
  • (2) Stabilizers (when selected)
About PMF Suspension
PRECISION METAL FABRICATION

PMF (Precision Metal Fab) Suspension is not your typical suspension company. Based out of Tucson, Arizona, they are a small, family based manufacturing facility that specializes in building quality replacement components to bulletproof the steering and suspension of your HD Ford, Ram, or Chevy.

WHY PMF SUSPENSIONS?

With PMF, you will never find corners being cut only in an effort to save money. Great pride in complete customer satisfaction is at the heart of their business, delivering products that deliver a real, tangible result in improved steering respponse and suspension performance, whether that's a simple replacement drag link or a complete four link conversion, you're in good hands when you choose PMF.

We at Diesel Power Products first had personal experience with PMF when the drag link on our 2020 F-350 failed with only 15k miles on it. After research, it proved that PMF was the best option to upgrade, and to say that we're impressed with the result, and even the original packaging of the product when it arrived to us would be an understatement! As with most products, we prefer to test them before offering them to our customer base, and this was no different. We know you'll be happy with any of PMF's upgraded components and kits. As always, if you have any questions about what parts are right for you and your truck, don't hesitate to give us a call or shoot an e-mail to cs@dieselpowerproducts.com and we would be happy to assist.
