Whether you've racked up some miles on your Powerstroke, or you're running larger than factory tires, the stock tie rod bar/center link has been shown to deliver inconsistent, sloppy steering. While the tie rods are a point of failure, also the physical bar that connects your steering knuckles can flex.
But now, you can have a simple and strong replacement option to clean up the front axle without the need to run heim joints! This bar replaces the OEM center tie rod bar that runs between the knuckles (tie rods optional). Instead of the OEM clamp unit, PMF's bar uses a jam nut to alleviate as many points of flex as possible. The outside of the bar remains the same diameter as the OEM bar was so you're able to mount a dual steering stabilizer kit without modifying the mounting bracket for the stabilizers. This is threaded to match the OEM tie rod threads so that when it is time to replace them, you can source them from any auto parts store or a Ford dealer.
