No support on Tekonsha's Lifetime Warranty
"I installed this product in my 2016 Lincoln Navigator. From the beginning, the knob fit loosely, but it initially didn't fall off, so I went with it. I figured, this has a lifetime warranty, and I've used Tekonsha products since the late 80's. If it comes apart, I'll get a replacement knob. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. The knob fell off after a month and a half. Maybe 2 months. I called Tekonsha, who informed me that they do not send individual parts for this product - that they would have to send a replacement and I would send back the original one. Which would have been great. Except, they never sent the replacement. AND. The person that I was in contact with at Tekonsha stopped replying to my e-mails altogether. So NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT NONE. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT IF IT BREAKS. At this point, my options are to buy a controller from a different company and try and dispute the original charge on my Visa. Be warned. When it works, it works well. But, should anything happen. Anything at all, you are just screwed by Tekonsha."
