Description
Keep your EcoDiesel's transmission running cool and clean with this upgraded transmission pan from PPE. PPE's Heavy-Duty Transmission Pan holds extra fluid and is cast from high-strength aluminum for optimal heat dissipation. The pan features internal heat sinks, external cooling fins that promote reduced transmission oil temperatures, and increases the fuild capacity but 2 quarts. Cooler oil lubricates better, which helps increase transmission service life and reduce service costs.
PPE has engineered an exclusive removable and replaceable oil filter. That means unlike the factory part, there's no need to discard the filter pan assembly every time you service your truck's transmission. This eliminates the high cost of regularly replacing the factory filter. Now simply remove, replace filter, and reinstall!
The PPE Heavy-Duty Aluminum Transmission Pan also features a high-powered Neodymium magnet-equipped drain plug to keep harmful ferrous metal contaminants out of the transmission internals.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This product will not fit Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel models due to interference with a factory cross member.
Pan gasket is not included as this product is designed to use the factory re-usable gasket. Visit your local dealer for a replacement gasket.
When filling the transmission, please refer to OEM procedures.
