Description

Need a new way to breathe new life into your mid-90s Ford? PMF Suspension has developed the first kit available that provides a complete bolt-on Reverse Shackle Kit (RSK) for use with the Old Body Style (OBS) and Super Duty leaf springs, eliminating the need for major frame or bumper changes. Since PMF developed this kit by listening to their customers, it works the way you want it to, not the way someone thinks you want it to work. By using existing holes in your frame and clearing factory bumper mounts, the only modifications to your truck for installation are two 1/2" holes. You will notice an increase in ride quality right away because now your Ford isn't fighting against itself with every bump in the road. Your truck feels even better in its handling than when it came off the showroom floor. This kit comes with front hangers, rear shackles, all assembly hardware, and a heavy-duty 1/4" wall square crossbar. LIFT HEIGHT: Choose between three different lift heights that are the height of the kit itself. Depending on your springs, you may get more lift on top of what you choose. FINISH: Choose between raw steel or semi gloss black wrinkle powder coat for a look that fits your needs. AXLE: If you are using a 1999-2004 Superduty axle, you must choose the SD Axle configuration so that the mounting configuration is correct. CROSSBAR OPTIONS: Don't forget to add on Tow Hook Rings and a Receiver Hitch! Add some extra hardpoints so your truck is ready to work! IMPORTANT NOTES: THESE WILL REUSE THE OEM LEAF HANGER UNDER THE BODY MOUNT THAT COME ON THE 4X4 CHASSIS. IF THE TRUCK IS A 2WD, YOU WILL NEED TO SOURCE THE SHACKLE PIVOT BRACKETS OR PURCHASE ADJUSTABLE REPLACEMENTS IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT. YOU MUST USE OEM 1999-2004 SUPERDUTY LEAF SPRINGS OR SPRINGS THAT ARE BUILT TO THE EXACT SPRING EYELET TO EYELET LENGTH OF AN OEM LEAF SPRING WHICH IS 55 3/8"!! SOME AFTERMARKET LEAF SPRINGS ARE MADE TO SHORTER MEASUREMENTS WHICH WILL CAUSE ISSUES WITH AXLE PLACEMENT AND SHACKLE GEOMETRY.
