These are the turbos for early 1999 7.3L models only, which had a build date prior to 12/07/98. If you're in need of a good, inexpensive stock replacement turbo that won't fail you, you've found it. These are a direct, stock replacement featuring a high flow compressor wheel upgrade that is designed to reduce turbo surge, something that is widely known as a recurring issue of the factory GTP38 turbos. And for those looking for additional performance over a stock turbo, but without having to make numerous other upgrades, we also offer this direct replacement with a billet extended tip compressor wheel.
