Description
The 2.8L Duramax powered Canyons and Colorados have proven themselves as a fun, compact diesel pickup capable of impressive fuel economy numbers. But more is always better, right? This intake system from SB delivers a 16.2% increase in airflow to provide more power, more MPG's, and faster turbo spool up. 3 Airflow Configurations - Depending on your airflow requirements, you can use the box plug to have the front inlet be the primary source of airflow, install the auxiliary air scoop for two extra inlets or neither and open up the back-side of the air box to provide a large secondary opening for airflow directly to the filter. Two Air Filter Options - SB offers two filter options based upon your preference. One option is a cleanable, oiled filter. This filter is designed to last the life of the vehicle and can be cleaned, oiled, and reinstalled into the vehicle. For those that prefer to simply change out the filter for convenience, you can also opt for a dry, disposable filter. This filter is not cleanable and you'll merely replace it when it comes time. The filter box will accept either, so you can interchange at will. Large air box and Filter - Our intake kit for your Colorado / Canyon Duramax has a large air box that engulfs as much available space as possible while mounting perfectly to stock mounting positions. Less Restrictive Than Stock - Designed to minimize restriction. The intake tube is positioned in one clean line with little obstructions from the turbo inlet to the air box. Optional Auxiliary Scoop - Attaches securely to the air box and is designed to pull cool air directly from the wheel well with two additional air inlets. Fast And Easy Install - The fit and finish are second to none. With the highest regarded installation instructions on the market, your Colorado / Canyon Duramax will be breathing easy in less than 60 minutes. Filter Options - With S&B, you have the choice of either an oiled, reusable filter or a dry, disposable filter. The difference? With their oiled version, you can merely clean and oil the filter each time it needs cleaning. With the dry, you'll need to merely toss and replace with a new unit. The choice is yours!

About S&B
Browse S&B Cold Air Intakes Online by Make, Model, and Year.

S&B Filters specializes in the manufacturing of high quality cold air intakes, air filters, intake manifolds, as well as other performance parts for light duty diesels to include Dodge Rams with a Cummins diesel engine, Powerstroke equipped Ford, and Chevrolet and GMC's with the hard working Duramax engine, as well as gas trucks and SUVs. With their combination of quality, performance, and affordability, they are one of our top picks when someone wants a recommendation for an air intake system.

Due in large part to the extensive amount of research and development S&B performs on every single part they produce, they are able to maximize airflow to deliver the biggest gains and have the simplest installation that nearly anyone can perform with basic hand tools. To reaffirm their commitment to build a quality product, S&B backs their air filters and intake kits with a one million mile warranty, as well as tests to meet or exceed ISO 5011 standards. S&B keeps their quality high and their pricing low by making almost everything themselves.

Browse S&B Fuel Tanks by Make, Model, and Year.

Many of today's modern diesels are equipped with puny fuel cells that require auxiliary, bed mounted systems to become almost mandatory for any of us traveling long distance, or simply don't want to fill up every other day. While there are options that exist on the market for replacement cells, none have gone to the extent that S&B Tanks has with features that the entire diesel market has been asking for. Similar to stock ground clearance? Check! Integrated fuel sump? Check? Easy installation? Absolutely! When you're ready to upgrade your truck's Distance to Empty, look no further than S&B Tanks.

Browse S&B Suspension by Make, Model, and Year.
