It's still a direct drop-in, bolt-on stock appearing replacement but with features you won't find anywhere else. The 64mm Mach1 turbo from Duramax Tuner improves power, towing potential and overall performance through the use of a custom designed high flow turbine assembly, billet compressor wheel, and 360 degree thrust bearings.The larger turbine assembly allows for lower drive pressure, creating a better balance between boost and drive (exhaust backpressure). This improved balance under heavy load means more efficiency and power at a given boost number, resulting in lower EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperature) under heavy load. Overall peak power is also improved, where the Stealth 64 G1 would normally support 600-610 HP, the G2 now pushes the envelope to 640HP. You're not going to find all of these features anywhere else in the aftermarket in a truly stock appearing, bolt-in IHI turbocharger.The Stealth 64 has been on the market since 2013 and represents everything the team at Duramax Tuner has learned, coupled with their in-house manufacturing and quality control - to bring the Stealth 64 to the next level.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This turbo will not replace the turbo on a CA emissions truck that was equipped with EGR. Only for fitment on Federal emissions trucks that were not equipped with EGR.
