Description
When building a performance transmission for the 2011-2018 68RFE, reusing the solenoid pack can be problematic. The stock boards are prone to flexing, which can break solder points, and lead to failure. If you're rebuilding, or building a transmission, it could be because of internal failure. If that's the case, you run the risk of all that broken material getting pulled through the solenoid and that will also lead to premature failure. Follow SunCoast's lead, install a new OEM solenoid pack.
