TITAN Fuel Tanks utilize common sense design features, which simplify installation. They reuse most of the stock components, including the existing sending unit. The tank itself is nearly indestructible, but light enough to be hefted by one or two people. While a vehicle hoist and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done.

Titan Shield (Accessory) The TITAN Shield is Recommended if your tank is going to be subjected to off-highway use. It is constructed from super-strong cross-linked polyethylene material and formed to fit the bottom of the tank.

• The LB7 Adapter Kit is required to install the Titan Extra-Capacity Polypropylene Diesel Fuel Tank (sold separately) in all 01-03 Chevy/GMC trucks with LB7 diesel engine or a 2004 Chevy/GMC truck with LB7 diesel engine and "1" as the eighth number of the VIN. It adapts the LB7 sending unit and vent tee to a Titan fuel tank.
