When upgrading your valve body, it is imperative that you replace the factory transducer at the same time. The transducer can also be a point of failure prior to installing a new valve body, causing many simple to fix transmission problems, such as 2nd gear starts, no overdrive, etc.

I own a 1996 Dodge 2500 Cummins, started shuttle shifting. After reading countless forums, led to replacing transducer and gov pressure sensor. After replacing both parts truck has no issues since. Both parts easy to replace took about an hour. Great product.

Thank you for the review and glad the new transducer is working well. The stock transducers in the 47 and 48RE's are a notoriously failed part, but at least they're relatively simple to swap.
I have a 98.5 Dodge Cummins 47re do I need an adapter harness for this?
No, this is a factory replacement item.
