Description
Improve the ride quality of your Duramax while increasing available wheel travel with this Stage 2 Suspension System from ICON. Featuring 2.0 Aluminum Series IFP Shocks at all four corners, its the perfect upgrade to a stock height or leveled out truck. The 2001-2010 GM 2500HD / 3500HD requires significant shock damping to comply with the massive spring rate of the factory torsion bar system. ICON Vehicle Dynamics has developed a range of suspension systems with optimized vehicle specific shock damping. These systems offer excellent on and offroad driveability. While driving the construction site or trails to your favorite dirt bike location, ICON wants you to get there in comfort just like your drive to work. ICON's Stage 2 system is comprised of V.S. 2.0 Aluminum Series IFP front shocks, Delta Joint UCA's and 2.0 Aluminum Series IFP rear shocks. The ICON vehicle specific tuned shocks are the key to attaining optimum ride quality and getting that desired comfort with the 3/4 1 ton working capability. This system features upper control arms with ICON's patent pending Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greasable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

About ICON Vehicle Dynamics
ICON Vehicle Dynamics is a premiere performance suspension manufacturer specializing in aftermarket suspension components for trucks, SUVs and off road suspension development. The companys business is customer-driven, technology-influenced, engineering-oriented and focuses on world-class manufacturing processes and techniques. Led by head engineer and SCORE champion driver Dylan Evans, ICON Vehicle Dynamics has the unique qualities to design and build the highest quality suspension components and test them in both real world applications as well as race conditions.

ICON is often asked how they develop such revolutionary performance suspension systems. The answer might surprise you. Their engineers actually start by determining a desired outcome of the vehicle they are working on. By studying forces and their effect on the vehicle in motion (Vehicle Dynamics) they are able to determine what improvements can be made. They determine how they can improve drivability of the vehicle, how to improve the handling characteristics and what changes can be made to improve the vehicle in real world situations. The end result of all this study is the highest quality and performing suspension products in the world. What also sets ICON products apart is our incredible commitment of time and energy dedicated to both ride development and testing. From vehicle dynamic theory to our years of experience and involvement in off road racing, rock crawling and just about anything you can do with a vehicle on or off the road. ICON engineers are in control and the driving force of the entire product line and manufacturing processes. This is made possible because all of their laser cutting, metal forming, CNC machining, welding and assembly is done in house.
