When it comes to the mighty Cummins diesel engine, they are known for longevity. That being said, the one part of the entire system that is known to fail is that of the fuel system, specifically the injectors. Due to extremely high pressure and sometimes substandard fuel quality, the injector nozzles and valves are subject to premature failure. When it comes time to replace one, two, or all six of your injectors, look no further than these brand new injectors directly from the original manufacturer, Bosch. That's right, these truly are brand new, which means you'll have no core charge to pay up front and no cores to send in.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- When replacing the injector(s), it is extremely important to also replace the injector connector tube(s) to each replaced injector. In most cases, the original connector tube can be essentially seated into the original injector, which leaves an impression at the tip of the tube. At this impression, leaks can develop because it may not seat into the new injector as the tube did with the original.
- This injector are ONLY intended for use in Cab and Chassis trucks, as their injectors are slightly different than those used in a traditional pickup. For those uncertain, a cab and chassis is a vehicle that came from the factory without a traditional pickup bed, as its intended to be upfitted with a flatbed, service body, etc.
