Description
Undoubtedly, the most important gauge you can add to your diesel truck is an Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) gauge, also known as a pyrometer. This gauge monitors the temperature of the exhaust as it leaves your engine, giving you immediate notice when things start to heat up, as opposed to waiting for your oil or coolant to slowly rise. Utilizing a type K thermocouple and R660 lead wire ensures accurate readings. These gauges come with everything you need for installation: gauge, sensor, wiring, and harness.EV² electronic gauges also include an integral programmable warning light, which may be activated if you select the checkbox above to add the programmer tool. The programmer can also be used to adjust the backlighting curve to perfectly match the factory dash lights, and can also adjust the amount of signal filtering/smoothing that the software performs.
