Are these injectors compatible with cummins part number 3802254? I would like to step up 50hp more. Thanks for your time Andy?
These are stock injectors that have been modified to 90hp over stock. BD part number BD-1040277 would be the 45 additional HP part number.
Is everything required to install the new injectors included or is there another kit I need also??
Everything is included.
I have 97 6bt 2wd stick , 165k . I tow all day in town and would like a little more power for the hills . how will this affect my mpg and what else would compliment this without breaking my wallet . I have installed a 4" exhaust and a cold air box . Thanks Steve?
Usually a slightly larger injector with a light foot will typically net you better MPGs, but that all depends on your driving style. There are many upgrades you can do to your injection pump to net more power to compliment these injectors. Increased timing and adjustments on the star wheel, pre boost fuel screw, and sliding the AFC housing forward, can net as much as 60HP and 200FT/LBS of torque. Pump tuning is key on these 12v engines and costs little to no money. When you get to this point, I highly suggest upgrading your turbo as well. This much fuel will result in excess heat and needs to be addressed with more air. If you have more questions regarding this feel free to call or email me. 888-993-4373 -Marcus
