AAA revealed Monday that it will be using “fast-charge trucks” to save electric car drivers who find themselves stranded.
When an electric car driver runs out of charge while driving, AAA will send the trucks to their rescue.
The best part is – these trucks run on diesel.
Electric car drivers receive a large jolt to their engine, in order to restore some charge to their vehicle.
The diesel trucks will be distributed to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tampa Bay, Knoxville, and Portland. In time, more locations will be using these diesel trucks as well.
