Q: What do the FASS EGR System kits do?
A: The FASS EGR System Kits remove 85% of the particulate matter from the EGR stream, which would otherwise shorten the life of your EGR system and engine!

Q: Right, but what is really getting filtered and why is that important?
A: Totally fair question to ask, over time, without a FASS EGR filter in place, soot and particulate gets recycled back into your engine.  That soot starts to build up like cholesterol on a variety of internal engine components. That coating of soot and particulate lines the intake valves, the tops of piston rings, grid heaters, intakes, and even the engine oil. That's all adding strain to your engine, hindering longevity and performance. FASS's EGR Filter keeps all of that nasty material from making its way back into the engine, protecting your investment.
