Higher than stock levels of boost pressure will cause your stock wastegate to stay open meaning less power for you. Banks Power's solution is the Big Head Wastegate Actuator, available in many of their kits, this actuator is designed for higher boost levels which allows your turbocharger to come up to peak boost more quickly and allows the boost level to be maintained.

Designed to keep your turbo working to it's full potential, the BigHead Wastegate Actuator from Banks Power doubles the diaphragm area and spring pressure of your stock part. By keeping the valve sealed longer, BigHead allows you to achieve a higher peak boost, sooner. At peak, your Bighead will open the wastegate and hold the position for precise boost control. All this means crisp acceleration and more mid-range power.
