    Terms & Conditions

We at Diesel Power Products offer a deferred core program in which we allow you to defer the typical upfront core charge when purchasing via credit card payment. All cores, whether the core charge was deferred or not, must be returned within 21 days from delivery date of product requiring core charge. Failure to do so can result in forfeiture of the entire core charge return. In the event you originally deferred the core charge, you authorize Diesel Power Products to charge you for the core charge.

All cores must be returned to the original warehouse that original shipment was sent from. If a return label is provided in the original shipment, use this tag. If one is not included, contact us immediately, and we can provide you with the correct address of where the core(s) must be returned to, as well as an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. DO NOT rely on the return address on the original label as a source for where to ship to.

If cores are shipped to the incorrect warehouse, your core money will be returned less the shipping cost for us to send the core(s) to the correct warehouse, or if you deferred the core you may be charged for the shipping amount.

Cores that have been disassembled and/or have missing and/or damaged major components will not receive full core credit. Returned cores must be on a "like-for-like" basis, meaning that the returned core has the exact same fitment as the remanufactured component that was purchased. In the event that the core is not "like-for-like," your core may not be eligible for return / credit.

Diesel Power Products has the right to alter this policy (i.e. extend the terms) for any reason. If you have an outstanding circumstance, contact us.

    What is a "Core Charge"?

In order to understand what a core charge is, you must first understand what a core is. In the automotive industry, most products are manufactured from brand new materials. However, numerous products are also remanufactured, meaning that the manufacturer of the product takes a used product, typically removed from a vehicle, disassembles, and replaces all worn components of the master product. A great example of this is in regards to automatic transmissions in which the manufacturer takes an existing transmission, replaces all of the inner working components, such as the torque converter, valve body, etc. and merely reuses the case.

Because aftermarket manufacturers require a steady stream of incoming cores to build, they charge a deposit on the core, known as a core charge, that is refunded upon receipt. In some cases, the core is not reusable, such as in the event of a cracked case, at which point the core deposit would not be credited as the core component is not reusable.

If you plan on returning your core you have two options.

    OPTION 1:
You can accept it, which means you will be charged for the part AND the core at time of purchase. You still have the option to send it back, and if you do, the core will be refunded back on the card used, presuming the core meets core criteria and the core is returned within 21 business days from originally receiving your order. If you have outstanding circumstances that would not allow the return to occur within 21 days, please contact us.

OPTION 2 You can defer the core charge. If you defer it, you will not be charged a core at time of purchase. You will have 21 business days from the day you receive it to send it back. As long as the core is received within the 21 business days, you will not be charged. If 21 business days goes by and you do not send it back, the card on file will be charged the core amount. You still may send it back, and once received, we will issue the core amount as in store credit, pending any limitations as set forth by the manufacturer.Core deferral is limited to payment by credit card only.

Remanufactured and modified 7.3L Injectors by the best in the business, featuring brand NEW nozzles on all injector kits! If your 7.3L is losing some of its power, fuel economy, possibly getting a little hard to start, chances are that the injectors need to be replaced, and no time like the present to upgrade for more power!

The difference in the Stage 2 injectors compared to the Stage 1's are the 80 or 100 percent over larger nozzles. The larger nozzle allows more fuel to exit the injector quicker into the combustion cycle, which increases horsepower even further. The injector has a limited time to inject fuel into the cylinder for the combustion cycle. With a larger nozzle, Full Force can inject more fuel per millisecond into the cylinder for combustion, which creates more power. The downside to a larger nozzle is the extra fuel creates more heat and black smoke. So the larger the nozzle, the more EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperatures) are created, and the need for more air upgrades are necessary.

Full Force Performance Injectors are a single shot injector. The stock injectors in the 1999-2003 Powerstrokes are a split shot injector, meaning you will have to run a custom programmed chip to make the transition from split shot injection to the new single shot injection. Horsepower increases from 100-125 hp and an increase in fuel mileage from the more efficient single shot design are typical. The stock AD injector in the 99-03 will flow approximately 145cc of fuel but with with the split shot design, 10cc of fuel is wasted in the pilot injection cycle. With that said, the effective flow rate of the AD stock injector is 135cc. Full Force recommends the upgrade to 180cc in the 99-03 SuperDuty, which results in about 125 horsepower over stock with a performance chip.
SIZE AND DISPLACEMENT OPTIONS:
180cc is the best choice for most 1999-2003 trucks. The only time Full Force recommends the 160cc injectors is in high altitude locations or for the customer that doesn't want a large power increase. The only benefit of the 160cc is for converting to a more efficient single shot injector with a very small bump in power. The 80% nozzle has slightly less smoke than the 100%, but they are identical in power.

INJECTOR WARRANTY POLICY:
Remanufactured now have an 18 month warranty. The warranty does not cover injectors that fail due to bad fuel or trash in the oil system. This also applies to the replacement of scored plungers and barrel assemblies due to bad fuel or the labor to break injectors down to clean poppet valves from dirty oil.

The buyer is to understand that these are aftermarket, high performance items, and Diesel Power Products is not responsible for any damage caused to the injectors or engine due to high EGTs, overrevving, engine failure or any other abuse or neglect.

If there is an injector problem, the buyer will have to purchase a new injector and send in the faulty injector. The buyer will receive a refund on the new injector after the faulty injector is inspected and determined to be covered by the above warranty.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • Casserly injectors are a single shot injector. 1999-2003 7.3L Powerstrokes run a split shot injector from the factory. In order to switch from a split shot to a single shot injector, we recommend running custom tuning software for proper engine/fueling calibration.

Would I have to put in new injector sleeves to use these injectors??

The cups do not need to be replaced unless worn or cracked.

Do I need to have a different HPOP to run these? I replaced my HPOP just a month ago.?

Depending on the condition of the stock pump, you may be fine. However larger injectors will demand more oil volume and psi from the HPOP. We would recommend upgrading the pump at the same time.

Do I need to have a different HPOP to run these? I replaced my HPOP just a month ago.?

As long as you have a good pump you should be fine but you will be leaving power on the table by not upgrading. Now you will not be hurting your self at all by using your HPOP.

So you say you reccomend the 160cc for high altitude or someone who doesnt want too much power gain. I live in high altitude and do want the bigger power gains, would the 180cc have problems in the higher altitude? Why exactly do you recommend 160cc for the higher altitude??

The 180's will work just fine. There is less air density at higher altitudes so a 180 runs a little hotter EGT wise and a little more smoke then a 160 so you will have to stay on top of monitoring your EGT's. Thank you! DppSands

Currently have a hydra tuner on my truck if i order these injectors can i delete the existing tunes for the stock split shot injectors and upload tunes onto the hydra for the single shot set up? Or do i need a whole new tuner??

Nope you can remove the tunes and put on single shot injector tunes. -Sands

Will I need to upgrade my fuel system at all to run the 180cc/100% nozzle injectors.?

I would recommend doing a regulated return system to maintain consistent fuel pressure. -Sands
