If the lift pump on your 98.5-02 Cummins has failed, don't worry, you're not the first. Unfortunately, this is a known issue for these trucks, and if it goes undetected, will quickly lead to injection pump failure. We offer many high performance lift pump options from several manufacturers, but if you are after a cheap and easy fix to get your truck back on the road, we offer this direct replacement from BD. This pump is a direct replacement for the factory pump and should only be used on stock trucks, as the displacement will only support stock fueling. If you are after a higher displacement pump, we also offer numerous options to support any level of fueling.

NOTE Your lift pump must be in the original location located off the back of the fuel filter housing in order for this pump to be a direct replacement. If your pump has been retrofitted in the tank, which was an upgrade from Dodge, this pump will not be properly configured for a direct install.
