AIRAID Filter Company has leveled the power playing field for the 7.3L with the development of an all-new Cold Air Dam Intake System for the 7.3-liter that allows the engine to breathe deeper, resulting in big horsepower and torque gains. The new system replaces the restrictive factory air box setup with an AIRAID Cold Air Dam which also incorporates a heavy-duty battery tray, complete with urethane battery pad. At the heart of this system is a HUGE 1700-CFM washable and reusable Premium Air Filter that is available with either SynthaFlow composite or their newest SynthaMax Non-Oiled filtration technology along with a specially shaped intake tube that feeds the Power Stroke turbo inlet.

All AIRAID filters are hand-poured using a special urethane blend that prevents cracking and shrinkage in the most extreme conditions. On the dyno, the new Cold Air Dam Intake System for the 7.3-liter generated an additional 27 horsepower and a whopping 55 lb/ft of torque to the rear wheels at a real-world 1900 rpm, about where most diesel driving is conducted. The system is a must for Powerstroke owners considering other upgrades such as a programmer or chip, and aftermarket exhaust system.

Multiple Filter Options

Oiled, Reusable As the name implies, this is a reusable filter that you can simply wash, oil, and reuse! Featuring a cotton gauze filter media with a single synthetic layer at the inner most core, this filter protects down to four microns of filtration. Due largely in part to the synthetic layer, you can rest assured that this filter will not allow any oil to bypass the filter into the engine for maximum protection.

Syntha Max Dry, Reusable You guessed it, this is also a reusable filter, but utilizes a unique multiple layer synthetic filter media that does not require oiling. The entire line of Syntha Max dry filters protect your engine and flow just as well as their oiled counterpart, but with one less step when it comes time to service them. But what about the different colors? Don't worry, that's the only difference, so you can have the color of preference under your hood.
