The most efficient way to feed fuel is to let gravity do the work! Instead of relying on overcomplicated pick up systems in the tank, or running the risk of quarter tank issues from draw straws, simplify things with this sump kit from BD! Now, fuel is fed from the bottom of the tank via a large bowl to a 1/2" fitting that will ensure your pump will NEVER starve for fuel!

My truck is slightly lower than a stock 2 wheel drive I'm concerned how low the bd tank sump will be after install ,what is the actual size of the outer part of the sump?
It is 1 1/2 tall 4 1/4 inches around.
Will this work on both tanks of a 1994 K VIN 7.3 turbo F 250 IDI ??
That sump kit is more for guys running an aftermarket lift pump that flows a substantial amount more fuel then stock. That would not be any sort of replacement for a stock fuel module. It uses much larger 1/2in id fittings.
Was wondering if this would be recommended if I am going to put the fuel boss mechanical lift pump in my 06 dodge 2500??
This can be used in conjunction with the fuel boss yes.
Would this work with the AFE Power DFS780 Fuel System??
You would have to do some pretty extensive modifications to the lines but you could get it to work. Most of the AFE lines have pre-attached fitting that you would possible have to cut off to try and make. Unless you are experiencing quarter tank issues it would not be worth the hassle.
Do you have to drop the tank on a 05 cummins to install this ??
To install the sump, no. Most of the time you need to gain access to the top of the tank if you are installing a pump along with the sump.-TL
