Unfortunately, the factory turbo found on the 6.0L Powerstrokes were prone to failure. But the good news is that Garrett, the original manufacturer, has been able to identify the root causes of the failures and correct them. And better yet, the professionals at BD have developed a completely drop-in turbo using the Garrett GT37 frame that will absolutely outperform any other drop-in turbo for more power and lower EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperatures)!
This Stage 2 features a billet 11-blade 63/88mm compressor wheel paired with a 10 blade turbine wheel featuring a 66mm exducer that offers big power gains and EGT reductions all in a completely drop-in replacement turbo. Paired with only a standard "box" tuner, its been proven to deliver 428 RWHP, so its no slouch on even a modified truck for amazing pulling power. All this in a stock looking, direct drop-in turbo package!

Will I still be able to tow with this turbo? Or do I just go with the stage 1 turbo? Ty?
If you have no other modifications done to your truck other than tuning, I would suggest sticking with the stage 1 if you use your truck for towing.-TL
I do not tow a lot and when I do it is usually no more than 8000lbs. My truck has stock injectors. it is tuned and i plan to get custom tuning once i get a new turbo. is this a good option or is stage 1 better still??
If you are running stock injectors I would stick with a stage 1 turbo. DppSands
I have 155 stock injectors cold air Intake 5 inch straight pipe, and I want to run a stage two, I plan on doing more to the truck good or bad idea on a stage 2 ??
I wouldn't recommend a Stage 2 for you. I would recommend a stage 1 for that size on injector. A stage 2 would need a 175/30 at least, to spool properly. -Sands
i have 175/75 injectors in my truck would you suggest stage 1 or 2?
I would suggest a stage 2 for that size of injector. -Sands
I pull 10000lbs 5th wheel trailer through mountain passes. I have 175/75 blocked spill port injectors 5" turbo back exhaust with a stock turbo. Would this stage 2 work well for towing with my setup? Or is it better to go to stock injectors with a stage 1??
As long as you monitor temps and had a good tune you could tow with those injectors and a Stage 2 turbo. -Sands
